Cobblestone had a very custom-built site that they were continuously adding content to. It was not efficient and the work could only be done by a developer with PHP knowledge. I worked with them to create a new design that still held their brand standards, but was modernized and developed in WordPress. I built them a custom theme and I also added an API to StayCobblestone.com that could feed their portfolio page so when a property was added to the main page it was automatically added to the franchising site. I also utilized the WordPress blog function to create their news page, which was previously just PDFs, so these pages would have much more SEO value. I also looked for any opportunity to use this content dynamically and create more internal links throughout the site. Overall the site became much simpler for them to add content themselves when needed, had a cleaner mobile version, and overall better user experience. However the easy to add their own content became the most important feature for SEO as this allowed them to easily and regularly add great content.
