I am honored for the opportunity to have worked with the wonderful team at the House of Hope. I volunteered at this organization in middle school and it had such a powerful impact on me. They change the lives of many kids and I am honored to work with this organization. If you are looking for an organization that does inspiring work, they are always looking for volunteers.
For the organization’s website, their previous website vendor donated their initial time to build the site, but they charged their regular hourly rate for any changes needed. Once I became the lead web designer/consultant for the organization, I moved their content to WordPress so that they could easily make changes on their own and not incur additional charges. I also set the site up on a small hosting service through GoDaddy. By setting up House of Hope’s website in this way, I was able to meet the organization’s goals of being able to manage their content as needed as well as provide a simple, clean website that drives traffic to their main overview information and encourages people to donate, which is their overall objective for the website.
